The Guava “Arka Kiran” is a F1 Hybrid developed by the IIHR (Indian Institute of Horticultural Research) Bengaluru. It is a pink pulp variety with average fruit weight of 200-220g with medium soft seeds. The variety is enriched with the benefits – a semi-vigorous, prolific and precocious bearer, yields medium sized round fruits with deep red, firm pulp and with high lycopene content. 
The main benefits is that it will start fruiting with in a year after purchase.
